About the
TTI Resource Netowrk
Welcome to our directory for TTI-informed/survivor therapists!
In the spirit of transparency, we have included our criteria for therapists before they are included on our directory, as well as how to vet therapists during consultations to make sure they are the right fit for you.
Our Criteria
We ask all therapists who apply to be added to our directory to include:
-
Their license type, license number, and the state(s) they're licensed in
-
If they are TTI-survivors or TTI-informed
-
Survivors: which program(s) they were in as well as the year(s) in the program(s)
-
Informed: which TTI-specific trainings, consultations, experience they have working with survivors
-
-
If they have worked within the TTI
-
We do not accept any therapist who has, for any amount of time, worked in any TTI facility
-
If you experience any issues or learn about previous staff involvement from a therapist on the directory that we were not able to screen out, please visit our Report Unethical Behavior Page and/or contact us immediately.
We are unable to vet the therapists on this directory beyond requesting information about their licensure, training and lived experience. Additionally, we do not endorse any particular therapist because they are listed on the website.
If you are using the website to look for a therapist, we recommend asking questions to make sure the therapist feels like the right fit for you. Click here to read our blog article about what kinds of questions may be helpful to ask!
